About Erinn

I’ve always loved art and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at the University of Alberta minoring in Art, but didn’t become serious about painting until years later. Experiences with depression and anxiety led me back to art creation as a form of meditation, as well as a way to create beauty, comfort, and humour in the world. I am inspired by all things that make me smile, including nature, animals, and especially, pets. I have been making and selling my art for over 6 years now, and have been teaching Encaustics workshops for 4 years. I am a Signature member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, as well as the International Encaustic Artists.
